It is a legal requirement for all operators of driven machinery to be duly trained, found competent and certified for the particular piece of equipment that they operate. We are duly accredited with the Transport SETA- TETA, Construction SETA-CETA and the Local Government SETA - LGSETA to provide lifting and earth moving equipment operator trainings. We also issue operators with licenses as per Department of Labour - NCOP approval.

Any person who will be required by the user (or employer) to conduct earth moving activities using driven machinery like TLB, Excavator, Grader, Tipper Trucks, Dump Trucks and such other machinery.
For ALL machinery operator trainings, the minimum requirements are; baseline medical, grade 10 or standard 8, eye test (unless in possession of a pdp), a valid drivers license is also a requirement for operators who will be driving on public roads.
Operator licenses are valid for a period NOT exceeding two years. Once the license and certificate have expired, they should be renewed within a ninety (90) day period. Should this period lapse, the operator is deemed a novice and should do novice operator training.
A novice operator is one who has never received the machinery operator training before and is being trained for the first time. This also applies to operators who have been operating the machinery without any prior training. Recertification training is simply for experienced operators whose licenses and certificates have expired. It is also referred to as refresher training.
